A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Jesaulenko, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Robartette and Cadillac Style were slow to begin. Loud Lana and Jubilation collided soon after the start. Robartette and Loud Lana collided approaching the first turn. Bending Bananas and Spokesman collided approaching the first turn checking Robartette and Bending Bananas. Bending Bananas was checked off Spokesman on the first turn. Jubilation galloped on Cadillac Style approaching the home turn. Bending Bananas and Spokesman collided approaching the home turn. Robartette, Bending Bananas and Spokesman collided on the home turn. Jubilation crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Robartette, Bending Bananas and Spokesman.
