A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Peter.
Usain Burst and Winston Rose were quick to begin. Gee Callan, Dr. Peter and Tankster collided soon after the start. Kynan's Magic and Dr. Don collided approaching the first turn. Gee Callan galloped on Usain Burst approaching the first turn. Dr. Don crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Kynan's Magic and severely checking Usian Burst. Dr. Peter was checked off Kynan's Magic on the home turn causing Dr. Peter to race wide.
Usain Burst was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
