Mrs. Geraldine Debono the trainer of Bad Advice declared a new weight of 26.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Bad Advice last raced at 28.1kg.

Showtime Chevi was slow to begin.  Bad Advice went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Kayla Las, Raddison and Exquisite Lad collided approaching the first turn checking Raddison.  Raddison and Showtime Chevi collided on the first turn checking Showtime Chevi.  Barry Beach, Kayla Las and Deadman Junction collided entering the home straight checking Barry Beach and Kayla Las.

Mr. Mark Braithwaite the trainer of Cosmic Dolly declared a new weight of 25.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Cosmic Dolly last raced at 23.5kg.

Bubba's Lad, Miss Margot and Walmac were slow to begin.  Aston Agile was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Bubba's Lad, Cosmic Dolly, Doovalacky and How Bizarre collided approaching the first turn checking Doovalacky and severely checking Cosmic Dolly.  Walmac, How Bizarre and Bubba's Lad collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Dolly raced wide in the home straight.

Cosmic Dolly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Margot was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. John Brown the trainer of the greyhound Miss Margot.  Stewards deemed the performance of Miss Margot unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Miss Margot must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Brandy's Puzzle and Simply Maybe were slow to begin.  Brandy's Puzzle faltered soon after the start and pulled up.  Spedito, Foxy Lulu and Social Member collided approaching the first turn checking Foxy Lulu.  Simply Maybe crossed in on the first turn checking Spedito, Social Member and Simply Maybe, Social Member stumbled as a result.

Brandy's Puzzle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injured right and left back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Wave Action was quick to begin.  Belle Star was slow to begin.  Vasile Boy was checked off Barnaby Boy approaching the first turn.  Shrek's Phantom and Belle Star collided approaching the first turn.  Barnaby Boy and Wave Action colllided on the first turn checking Wave Action.  Vasile Boy and Wave Action collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zatmine was checked off Miss Kadia on the first turn.  Shrek's Phantom was checked off Wave Action approaching the home turn.  Miss Kadia and Barnaby Boy collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Zatmine was checked off Barnaby Boy entering the home straight.  Vasile Boy was checked off Fear Indigo entering the home straight.  Miss Kadia and Barnaby Boy collided in the home straight checking Miss Kadia.  Barnaby Boy and Fear Indigo collided approaching the winning post checking Fear Indigo.

Parkfield Shower was slow to begin.  Osiris and Lepus Chaser collided soon after the start checking Lepus Chaser.  Marciarno Miss, Gold Anthem and Parkfield Shower collided approaching the first turn checking Gold Anthem and Parkfield Shower.  Osiris and Lepus Chaser collided approaching the first turn checking Lepus Chaser.  Gold Anthem was checked off Marciarno Miss approaching the first turn.  Lepus Chaser galloped on Marciarno Miss on the first turn.  Spirited Revenge, Parkfield Shower and Lepus Chaser collided on the first turn checking Lepus Chaser and severely checking Parkfield Shower.  Lepus Chaser was checked off Spirited Revenge approaching the home turn. Lepus Chaser lost ground over the concluding stages of the event. 

Lepus Chaser was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.  Trainer Mrs. Marlene Schmidt declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Marlene Schmidt the trainer of the greyhound Lepus Chaser.  Stewards deemed the performance of Lepus Chaser unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Lepus Chaser must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Have A Tinnie, Lil Maybe and About To Peak were slow to begin.  Billy Bubba was quick to begin.  Dark Avenger and Majimber Rock collided approaching the first turn checking Dark Avenger.  Majimber Rock and About To Peak collided on the first turn.

Ruthless Stagger and Daintree Puzzle were quick to begin.  Ledaro Dash and Zafonic Zjahdi collided soon after the start.  Almost Human  and Golden Meleni collided several times approaching the first turn.  Daintree Puzzle and Almost Human collided approaching the first turn.  Almost Human was checked off Golden Meleni on the first turn.  Good For You and Ice Cossack collided on the first turn.  Almost Human was checked off Good For You approaching the home turn.  Almost Human and Zafonic Zjahdi collided approaching the home turn checking Zafonic Zjahdi.  Daintree Puzzle and Good For You collided on the home turn.  Good For You, Almost Human and Ledaro Dash collided on the home turn checking Almost Human, Ledaro Dash and Zafonic Zjahdi.

In This Way was slow to begin.  Yahoo Gold and Black Selandra collided soon after the start checking Black Selandra.  Black Selandra and In This Way collided approaching the first turn.  Daintree Sugar and Cee Cee's Legacy collided approaching the first turn.  Daintree Sugar, Cee Cee's Legacy and In This Way collided approaching the home turn checking In This Way.  Tangible raced wide approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  In This Way and Cee Cee's Legacy collided entering the home straight.  Tangible raced wide in the home straight.  Black Selandra raced wide in the home straight.

Buckle Up Vicki was slow to begin.  Nikita's Nitro and There For Me collided approaching the first turn.  Nikita's Nitro, Arvo's Echo and Runaway Ellie collided on the first turn severely checking Arvo's Echo and Runaway Ellie, Arvo's Echo contacted the running rail as a result.  Buckle Up Vicki and There For Me collided entering the home straight.  Runaway Ellie raced wide in the home straight.

Burnsy's Sue was slow to begin.  Amlin Mystique crossed in soon after the start checking Albert's Patch, Artic Lee and Where's Salma.  Where's Salma and Artic Lee collided approaching the first turn.  Artic Lee, Albert's Patch and Uno Rae collided approaching the first turn checking Artic Lee and Uno Rae and severely checking Albert's Patch.  Uno Rae and Bandit Brad collided several times in the home straight.

Uno Rae was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured and lacerated toe on the left hind foot, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lady Magic was slow to begin.  Black Senor stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  El Marny galloped on Dr. Gomez on the first turn checking Dr. Gomez.  Hit The Gas and Lady Magic collided on the first turn checking Lady Magic.  Lady Magic and Futurist collided on the first turn.  Dr. Gomez was checked off Lika Surprize approaching the home turn.  Lady Magic marred Hit The Gass approaching the winning post.

Lady Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and shoulder, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Dennis Brown the trainer of the greyhound Lady Magic regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Lady Magic with marring.  Mr. Brown pleaded not guilty to the charge, Lady Magic was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pusuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midnight Myth, Ripplebrook Al, Daggy's Gift and Sandave Pearl were quick to begin.  Daggy's Gift crossed in soon after the start checking Ripplebrook Al, Dollar Chips and Sandave Pearl.  Gee Double You and Dollar Chips collided approaching the first turn.  Gee Double You galloped on Ripplebrook Al on the first turn checking Gee Double You, Dollar Chips, Northern Emma, Daggy's Gift and Sandave Pearl.  Dollar Chips and Daggy's Gift collided in the home straight.
