Steward's Report
Mr. Mark Braithwaite the trainer of Cosmic Dolly declared a new weight of 25.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cosmic Dolly last raced at 23.5kg.
Bubba's Lad, Miss Margot and Walmac were slow to begin. Aston Agile was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Bubba's Lad, Cosmic Dolly, Doovalacky and How Bizarre collided approaching the first turn checking Doovalacky and severely checking Cosmic Dolly. Walmac, How Bizarre and Bubba's Lad collided on the first turn. Cosmic Dolly raced wide in the home straight.
Cosmic Dolly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Miss Margot was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. John Brown the trainer of the greyhound Miss Margot. Stewards deemed the performance of Miss Margot unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Miss Margot must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
