Marlise was slow to begin.  Remy Bale and Gabonia collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Gabonia.  Marlise and Kilter Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Darra Blaze checked off Gandolf Bale approaching the second turn and collided with Flaming Causeway as a result.  Gandolf Bale and Gabonia collided on the home turn.

Marlise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder, triceps and monkey and its right triceps.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Nitro Addiction, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of the greyhound Marmions Pride, Mr. G. Shingles, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr. Shingles stated that the greyhound was new to his kennel and had been on season. Stewards noted Mr. Shingles comments.

Ollie Boy, Aeroplane Becky and Berda Bale were slow to begin.  Aeroplane Becky and Berda Bale collided soon after the start.  Oppi Bale and Ollie Boy collided approaching the first turn.  Atkin Bale, Oppi Bale, Marmion's Pride, Aeroplane Becky and Berda Bale collided on the first turn checking Oppi Bale, Marmion's Pride and Aeroplane Becky.  Marmion's Pride and Aeroplane Becky collided approaching the second turn.  Danger Money checked off Helga Bale approaching the third turn.  Oppi Bale and Ollie Boy collided in the home straight.

Ollie Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left triangle and right monkey.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Spring Drifter was slow to begin.  Bastet Bale and Cosmic Rebel collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Rebel.  Iyliss Bale and Reality Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Spring Drifter galloped on the heels of Reality Girl approaching the first turn.  West On Xandi, Cosmic Rebel and Reality Girl collided on the first turn.  Baroness Tiffie checked off Iyliss Bale on the first turn checking Spring Drifter and severely checking Baroness Tiffie, Reality Girl and Cosmic Rebel; Cosmic Rebel fell as a result.  West On Xandi and Bastet Bale collided on the home turn.

Cosmic Rebel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder and left triceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Baroness Tiffie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left triceps and left triangle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Reality Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triceps.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Deep Rock and Gunmetal Lad collided soon after the start.  Blonde Jettie, Berri Lass, Annabow, Baroness Ridge and Gunmetal Lad collided approaching the first turn severely checking Berri Lass and Annabow.

A sample was taken from Eaton Bale, the winner of the event.

Lord Diamond and Dyna Lemmy collided soon after the start.  Lord Diamond, Dyna Lemmy and Spa Jangles collided approaching the first turn.  Lord Diamond and Spa Jangles collided approaching the first turn.  Chancy Be Smooth and Lister Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Lord Diamond, Spa Jangles, Chancy Be Smooth and Lister Bale collided on the first turn checking Dyna Lemmy and Lord Diamond.  Spa Jangles checked off Lister Bale in the back straight.  Lister Bale and Buckle Up Omnin collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Spa Jangles eased approaching the winning post and collided with Buckle Up Omnin as a result.

Spa Jangles was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. McColl, the representative of the greyhound Spa Jangles regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Spa Jangles with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. McColl pleaded guilty to the charge.  Spa Jangles was found guilty and the greyhound was suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Lektra Cooked was slow to begin.  He Throws Bombs and Harry Aztec collided soon after the start.  He Throws Bombs, Harry Aztec and Pretty Bale collided on the first turn checking Pretty Bale, Harry Aztec and Lektra Cooked.  Rugall and My Name's Debbie collided approaching the third turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Smith regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Harry Aztec in this event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Franklin and reminded him of his responsibilities to ensure that when he accepts catches on behalf of others that these catching engagements are fulfilled.

Harry Aztec was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left monkey, left hind muscle of digit one and a small skin laceration.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Monty Express was slow to begin.  Big Barking Bert checked off Gunmetal Rebel soon after the start.  Monty Express crossed to the rail soon after the start. Coal Cheetah and Hilltop Senorita collided approaching the first turn.  Monty Express, Big Barking Bert, Hilltop Senorita and Spreading Rumors collided on the first turn checking Big Barking Bert and Hilltop Senorita.  Hisagi Bale, Gunmetal Rebel and Loch Roman collided on the first turn checking Loch Roman and Monty Express and severely checking Hisagi Bale and Gunmetal Rebel.  Hisagi Bale and Big Barking Bert collided approaching the second turn checking Big Barking Bert.  Hisagi Bale and Hilltop Senorita collided approaching the second turn checking Hilltop Senorita.  Loch Roman, Hisagi Bale and Gunmetal Rebel collided on the second turn.  Monty Express and Coal Cheetah collided entering the back straight.  Monty Express and Hilltop Senorita collided on the third turn.  Hisagi Bale and Gunmetal Rebel collided on the home turn checking Gunmetal Rebel which collided with Coal Cheetah as a result.

Monty Express was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Punch It, Fourth Choice and Hanging In There collided soon after the start checking Fourth Choice and Hanging In There.  Penance Allen checked off Dyna Fancy approaching the first turn.  Fourth Choice and Hanging In There collided approaching the first turn checking Fourth Choice.  Tiny Bit Left, Punch It and Hanging In There collided on the first turn checking Punch It, Hanging In There and Fourth Choice.  Tiny Bit Left and Hanging In There collided approaching the second turn.

Stewards spoke to the representitive of the greyhound Aston Pearson, Ms. J. Greenough, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Ms Greenough stated that the greyhound had intially been on season and has since had a change of trainer. Stewards noted Ms Greenough's comments.

Aston Pearson crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Spring Topaz and Zana Bale.  Zana Bale and Spring Topaz collided approaching the first turn.  Agile Reason and Venom's Lad collided on the first turn.

Alberino was slow to begin.  Dory Bale and Zelemar Zippa collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dory Bale and Zelemar Zippa collided on the home turn.

Black Kaspa went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Movefasa Reg, Hard Merchandise and Got The Picture collided soon after the start checking Hard Merchandise and Movefasa Reg.  Jane Eliza and Tycoon Diamond collided on the first turn checking Tycoon Diamond.  Movefasa Reg, Tycoon Diamond, Hard Merchandise and Got The Picture collided on the first turn checking Tycoon Diamond, Hard Merchandise and Got The Picture.  Tina Two and Jane Eliza collided entering the front straight checking both greyhounds.  Black Kaspa, Movefasa Reg, Tycoon Diamond and Got The Picture collided on the second turn checking Black Kaspa, Movefasa Reg and Got The Picture and severely checking Tycoon Diamond.

Hard Merchandise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left triceps and left monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Mayhem, Shout Out Loud and All Inn Memphis collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Shout Out Loud.  Real Baroque and Bounty collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Blue Mayhem, All Inn Memphis and Real Baroque collided on the first turn checking All Inn Memphis.  Shout Out Loud checked off Real Baroque approaching the second turn and collided with Dyna Judas; Dyna Judas and All Inn Memphis were checked as a result.
