Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Neile, trainer of Jazzy Osti with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jazzy Osti last raced on 14 September, 2014. Mr Neile stated that the greyhound had been on season.
A pre race sample was taken from Happy Hudson.
Snitzel Von Krum was quick to begin. Arolok Dora and Jazzy Osti were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn. Snitzel Von Krum and Augusta Dreaming collided approaching the first turn, checking Snitzel Von Krum. Black Betsy checked off Happy Hudson on the first turn. Samsara Lass checked off Tear Away Kuda in the home straight, checking Jazzy Osti.
Samsara Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the saddle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
