Sailing Ale was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start.  Pretty Crazy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Pingu, Tiger Pride and Sailing Ale and severely checking Jemarl.  Devil's Mate eased on the home turn.  Pretty Crazy and Devil's Mate collided in the home straight.

Jemarl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Melville, the handler of the greyhound Devil's Mate regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Devil's Mate was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Devil's Mate with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Melville pleaded guilty to the charge.  Devil's Mate was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cool Lois was a late scratching at 11:08am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J. Burch was fined the sum of $100.

Tear Away Lucy went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Riverdale Maggie was slow to begin.  Spring Series and Commandaria collided approaching the first turn checking Commandaria.  Spring Series and Tear Away Lucy collided on the first turn checking Tear Away Lucy.  Tear Away Lucy checked off Gox Rocks approaching the home turn.  Where Are We and Riverdale Maggie collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Tear Away Lucy and Where Are We collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Bobby Dillon was a late scratching at 8:52am due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Immeasurable was quick to begin.  Spare Parts and Eumeralla Fiona were slow to begin.  Flyin' Les Fergi and Spanish Express collided approaching the first turn checking Spanish Express.  Flyin' Les Fergi, Super Ballotelli and Spare Parts collided on the first turn checking Immeasurable, Spare Parts and Spanish Express.  Flyin' Les Fergi checked off Super Ballotelli approaching the home turn.  Eumeralla Fiona checked off Spanish Express in the home straight. Spanish Express and Eumeralla Fiona collided approaching the winning post.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Mystique Speedy and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:18am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J. Wright was fined the sum of $100.

All Bolts, Giddy Up and Clovalley Angus collided soon after the start checking Giddy Up.  Ella Jordan checked off All Bolts approaching the first turn.  Thunder Chief raced wide entering the back straight and collided with All Bolts, Clovalley Angus and Nuggy Burger; Nuggy Burger was checked as a result.  Clovalley Angus checked off All Bolts in the back straight.  Ella Jordan and Giddy Up collided approaching the second turn.  Ella Jordan and All Bolts collided approaching the home turn.  All Bolts and Nuggy Burger collided in the home straight.

It's A Wrap and Slipaway Simba were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Baroness Tippy and Ain't No Good collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Ain't No Good and It's A Wrap.  Ain't No Good checked off Dundas Boy in the home straight.

Cooly Queen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dirk And Rosie, Speed Chill, Kevaud's Girl and Hook Him In.  Hook Him In checked off Lily Black entering the back straight checking Cooly Queen.  Dirk And Rosie, Speed Chill, Conclude and Nitro Princess collided on the second turn severely checking Conclude, Nitro Princess, Cooly Queen, Kevaud's Girl and Speed Chill; Kevaud's Girl fell as a result.  Conclude and Cooly Queen collided approaching the home turn.  Lily Black raced wide in the home straight.

Speed Chill was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kevaud's Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right front leg.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Nitro Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Slipaway Anna was slow to begin.  College Graduate, Lucilla and Flying Hannah collided soon after the start checking Lucilla.  College Graduate checked off Flying Hannah on the first turn.  College Graduate, Lucilla and Slipaway Anna collided entering the back straight checking Slipaway Anna and Lucilla.  Lucilla checked off Slipaway Anna on the second turn.  Flying Hannah raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Slipaway Anna eased in the home straight and collided with College Graduate as a result.  Lucilla and Slipaway Anna collided in the home straight.  College Graduate and Flying Hannah collided approaching the winning post.

Symmetry Lad was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right coupling.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bold Caper and Ladies Kay were slow to begin.  Barellen George and Spot Me Run collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Spot Me Run.  Franklin Pearl, Darbo Fozz, Hardy Chief and Barellen George collided approaching the first turn checking Barellen George, Darbo Fozz and Ladies Kay.  Ladies Kay and Spot Me Run collided approaching the home turn checking Spot Me Run.  Darbo Fozz raced wide on the home turn.  Belena Belle checked off Hardy Chief in the home straight.

Rosie Rocks was quick to begin.  Shooter's Irish and Dat Flash collided soon after the start checking Dat Flash.  Thanks Dorothy and Kayla's Effort collided on the first turn.  Blink checked off Shooter's Irish approaching the home turn.  Kayla's Effort and Dat Flash collided on the home turn.  Thanks Dorothy checked off Blink in the home straight.  Shachar Magic checked off You Won't in the home straight.

Riley Boy was slow to begin.  College Queen, Miss Belena and Clovalley Rang collided on the first turn checking Miss Belena and severely checking Clovalley Rang, Team Player, Derby Ghost, Remo Coffee and Ain't No Rest; Ain't No Rest fell as a result. 

Ain't No Rest was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Don Fire went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Urban Rock Star, Scherri Lee Lass and Crackerjack Hano collided approaching the first turn checking Scherri Lee Lass.  Urban Rock Star and Crackerjack Hano collided on the first turn checking Urban Rock Star and Scherri Lee Lass.  Cosmic Century checked off Arie's Jewel on the home turn.
