Roll 'Em High was slow to begin. Fawn Mantra and Madem Model collided soon after the start. Albert's Patch and How's It Proper collided soon after the start. Fawn Mantra and Madam Model collided at the 250m mark. Simply Maybe and Katie Alouette collided at the 250m mark. Madam Model and Miss Nicastro colllided at the 200m mark. Fawn Mantra galloped on the heels of Madam Model at the 150m mark, checking Miss Nicastro and Roll 'Em High and severely checking Madam Model which stumbled and contacted the running rail, causing Madeam Model to gallop on the heels of Miss Nicastro as a result.
Madam Model was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left hind webbing, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
