Steward's Report
Tronathon was slow to begin. Tenonas, Pequeno Rayo and Jukebox Hero collided soon after the start checking Pequeno Rayo and Jukebox Hero. Nazareth Bale and Zipping Anna collided on the first turn checking Zipping Anna. Crackerjack Jeff and Pequeno Rayo collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Jeff, Starling Bale and Jukebox Hero and severely checking Pequeno Rayo which fell as a result. Zipping Anna checked off Tenonas on the home turn.
Tronathon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Shaw, the representative of the greyhound Tronathon. Stewards deemed the performance of Tronathon unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Tronathon must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Pequeno Rayo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.
