High Class was slow to begin. Jubilea Bale, Amaroo Cruise and Ima Apple collided soon after the start. Jubilea Bale, Amaroo Cruise and Elite Faze collided approaching the first turn. Ima Apple and Amaroo Cruise collided approaching the home turn. Little Zippity and High Class collided on the home turn causing Lovely Lizzie to race wide. Little Zippity and High Class collided entering the home straight. Little Zippity checked off High Class in the home straight.
Flashing Bessy, which trailed the field throughout, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
