Steward's Report
Sisco Wake and Iroquois Drum were slow to begin. Volksjager Blue and Hashtag Yolo collided soon after the start. Ulala Bale and Oscar De Largo collided soon after the start checking Oscar De Largo. Ulala Bale checked off Volksjager Blue approaching the second turn and collided with Hashtag Yolo; Hashtag Yolo and Madame Black raced wide as a result. Ulala Bale and Hashtag Yolo collided entering the back straight checking Ulala Bale and Oscar De Largo. Sisco Wake checked off Our Shiraz entering the back straight. Iroquois Drum and Madame Black collided on the third turn. Iroquois Drum eased entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Klemke, the representative of the greyhound Iroquois Drum. Iroquois Drum was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Iroquois Drum with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Klemke pleaded guilty to the charge. Iroquois Drum was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
