Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 5 minutes after an incident with the lure in the catching pen, resulting in a false start. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes, vetted and passed fit to race.
I'm So Late was quick to begin. Runnin' On Gas and Shrek's Phantom were slow to begin. Secret Colour crossed in on the first turn checking Bubble Head, Early Violet and Secret Colour. Bubble Head was checked off Secret Colour approaching the home turn. Soda's Storm and Mr. Leigh collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Stewards spoke to Mr L. Sullivan (Track Attendant) regarding his failure to lift the gate flap to allow the lure to pass through. Stewards issued Mr. Sullivan with a warning.
