Magic Jack Rose and Scanez Twelve were quick to begin.  Aston Zeus, Iona Blackflash and Child's Dream collided soon after the start checking Child's Dream.  Adamant was checked off My Pocket Rocket approaching the first turn.  Aston Zeus was checked off Scanez Twelve on the first turn checking Child's Dream and severely checking Adamant, My Pocket Rocket, Aston Zeus and Scanez Twelve.  Magic Jack Rose raced wide on the home turn checking Black Pontiac.  Magic Jack Rose and Black Pontiac collided entering the home straight.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 5 minutes after an incident with the lure in the catching pen, resulting in a false start. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes, vetted and passed fit to race.

I'm So Late was quick to begin.  Runnin' On Gas and Shrek's Phantom were slow to begin.  Secret Colour crossed in on the first turn checking Bubble Head, Early Violet and Secret Colour.  Bubble Head was checked off Secret Colour approaching the home turn.  Soda's Storm and Mr. Leigh collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr L. Sullivan (Track Attendant) regarding his failure to lift the gate flap to allow the lure to pass through.  Stewards issued Mr. Sullivan with a warning.

Classy Caitlyn was quick to begin.  Fantasy McQueen was slow to begin.  Worthy Reab, Fantasy McQueen and Cool Boss collided soon after the start.  Groover Groover, Classy Caitlyn and Fixate collided on the first turn checking Classy Caitlyn which lost ground checking Classy Caitlyn and Cool Boss and severely checking Worthy Reab and Fantasy McQueen.  Worthy Reab raced wide on the home turn.  Worthy Reab and Fantasy McQueen collided several times approaching winning post.

Cost Cutter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Les was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprung toe on the left hind foot, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Ruff Edges was quick to begin.  Peregon Flyer and Forheza were slow to begin.  Forheza, Dr. Rahoual and Shirdon Connorae collided soon after the start checking Dr. Rahoual.  Outer Time and Soda Anne collided approaching the first turn.  Delta Daisy, Outer Time, Shirdon Connorae and Soda Anne collided on the first turn checking Shirdon Connorae and severely checking Outer Time, Soda Anne and Delta Daisy.  Peregon Flyer and Soda Anne collided on the home turn.
