Crackerjack Andy was quick to begin. Show Bag Carter was slow to begin. Miss Rossi checked off Apple Cyder soon after the start. Apple Cyder, Full Of Boloney and Cosmic Lola collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Rossi, Full Of Boloney and Cosmic Lola. Full Of Boloney and Cosmic Lola collided on the first turn, checking Cosmic Lola. Kirabilli Rosie crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Andy, Apple Cyder and Pure Riddle. Apple Cyder raced wide on the home turn. Show Bag Carter checked off Pure Riddle in the home straight.
Cosmic Lola was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind webbing, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
