Mrs W Duve trainer of Veetee Destroyer redeclared a new weight of 27.4kg in accordance with GAR 39(2).Veetee Destroyer last raced at 25.9kg.

Veetee Destroyer was quick to begin.  Taxi was slow to begin.  Booberry crossed to the inside soon after the start and collided with Taxi; Taxi was checked as a result.  Dr. Waldo and Booberry collided soon after the start checking Booberry.  Dr. Waldo and Riverside Shaz collided approaching the home turn checking Riverside Shaz.

Wasabi Princess was quick to begin.  Oakmont Malawi was slow to begin.  Magic Kara and Anoteros collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Ice Cognac and Fawn Kara collided on the first turn checking Fawn Kara, Magic Kara and Anoteros.  Wasabi Princess eased on the first turn and raced wide checking Captain Peter and causing Oakmont Malawi to race wide.  Oakmont Malawi raced wide on the home turn.  Wasabi Princess eased approaching the winning post checking Dr. Gotcha.

Dr. Gotcha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its right front foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Wasabi Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left elbow and right pencil.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. R. Busuttil, the trainer of the greyhound Wasabi Princess regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn and approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Wasabi Princess with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. Busuttil pleaded guilty to the charge.  Wasabi Princess was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Countess Juanita was quick to begin.  Emmett Ryker, Blonde Jettie and Black Alabar were slow to begin.  Our Miss Nitro checked off Inter Sandra approaching the first turn.  Inter Sandra checked off Countess Juanita approaching the first turn checking Emmett Ryker and severely checking Zeva Diva, Blonde Jettie and Our Miss Nitro.  Countess Juanita checked off Secret Colour approaching the home turn.  Emmett Ryker raced wide on the home turn.  Secret Colour checked off Black Alabar on the home turn and raced wide checking Countess Juanita as a result.  Countess Juanita, Secret Colour and Black Alabar raced wide in the home straight.

Delta Queen was quick to begin.  Lunchless and I'm Pumped were slow to begin.  Smoking Rosie and Oscar's Chance collided soon after the start.  Jungle Warfare and Here Comes Alex collided approaching the first turn checking Jungle Warfare.  Little Zippity, Lunchless and I'm Pumped collided on the first turn.  Smoking Rosie and Oscar's Chance collided approaching the home turn checking Oscar's Chance.  Little Zippity and Lunchless collided approaching the home turn checking Little Zippity.  Little Zippity raced wide on the home turn.

Mr.T Salih the trainer of Miss Silay redeclared a new weight of 29.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Miss Silay last raced at 28.5kg.

Cooler Colour was quick to begin.  Dr. Timothy and Inter Lucy were slow to begin.  Tango And Cash, Miss Minta and Run Sophie Run collided approaching the first turn checking Run Sophie Run.  Miss Silay faltered on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Tango And Cash and Cooler Colour collided on the first turn checking Cooler Colour.  Dr. Timothy and Inter Lucy raced wide on the home turn.

Miss Silay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr M Clark trainer of Ice Contractor redeclared a new weight of 36.0kg in accordance with GAR 39(2) Ice Contractor last raced at 34.3kg.

Cee Cee's Legacy and Slick John were quick to begin.  Magaluf Bob and Macalister Mary were slow to begin.  Ice Contractor and Slick John collided soon after the start.  Bergaz and Macalister Mary collided soon after the start.  Ice Contractor and Slick John collided approaching the first turn.  Dagwood checked off Have A Tinnie approaching the first turn.  Have A Tinnie, Magaluf Bob, Slick John and Macalister Mary collided on the first turn checking Slick John, Magaluf Bob, Ice Contractor and Dagwood.  Magaluf Bob galloped on the heels of Ice Contractor approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Have A Tinnie and Cee Cee's Legacy collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Bergaz, Macalister Mary and Cee Cee's Legacy collided approaching the winning post checking Cee Cee's Legacy and Macalister Mary.

Demon Puzzle and Blu Kismet were slow to begin.  El Marny crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Go Phoenix, Bozumolu and Secret Gun.  Blu Kismet crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Bozumolu, Go Phoenix and Secret Gun.  Secret Gun raced wide on the home turn.  Buckle Up Vicki raced wide in the home straight.

Tina Two was slow to begin.  Conclave crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Broad Betty, Classy Capri, Miss Geeves, Cosmic Lady, Gifted Man and Ice Cossack.  Gifted Man and Miss Geeves collided on the first turn checking Gifted Man.  Classy Capri and Tina Two collided approaching the home turn checking Classy Capri.  Broad Betty and Tina Two collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.

Ginger Pieces was quick to begin.  Dozer Lad and Riverside Wade were slow to begin.  Explosive Lass, Arvo's Tayzer and Ginger Pieces collided soon after the start checking Arvo's Tayzer.  Ginger Pieces crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Prince Nando and Explosive Lass.  Dozer Lad galloped on the heels of Riverside Wade on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Dozer Lad stumbled and checked Arvo's Tayzer as a result.  Big Vee, Prince Nando and Dark Avenger collided on the first turn.  Big Vee and Prince Nando collided approaching the home turn checking Big Vee.  Big Vee raced wide on the home turn.

Dozer Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder and right triangle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr.A Gringhuis the trainer of Uno Nando redeclared a new weight of 27.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Uno Nando last raced at 26.0kg.

Calippo Man was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial

One Stormy Night trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 29.6kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.43.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 lengths.  One Stormy Night was not cleared.
