Pop Ya Bubble was quick to begin. Harsh Miles was slow to begin. Fiery Universe and Solar Rapid collided soon after the start, checking Fiery Universe. Fiery Universe and Harsh Miles collided approaching the first turn. Bashful Babe and Solar Rapid collided approaching the home turn, checking Bashful Babe. Fiery Universe and Harsh Miles collided several times approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Bashful Babe raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Pop Ya Bubble and Good Odds Sammy collided in the home straight, checking Good Odds Sammy. Solar Rapid cramped in the home straight.
Solar Rapid was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
