Stewards spoke to Mr R.Gatt, the trainer of Watsargo Sarge regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Watsargo Sarge last raced on 23 February, 2015. Mr Gatt stated that the greyhound had been suffering from acidosis and that he spelled the greyhound as a result. 

Suspicious Joe and Brace For Impact were slow to begin. Rocket Riley was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Suspicious Joe and Bob On collided on the first turn, checking Suspicious Joe. Stewards spoke to Mr M.McGuire, the trainer of the greyhound Solar Rapid. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
