Steward's Report

He's Your Mate was slow to begin.  Gunsblaze and Movefasa Reg collided soon after the start.  Roadrunner Thief and Gunsblaze collided on the first turn. Nitro Princess and Nuggy Burger collided on the first turn and again entering the back straight checking Nitro Princess.  Movefasa Reg checked off Nitro Princess in the back straight.  Roadrunner Thief and Gunsblaze collided approaching the home turn checking Roadrunner Thief.

Nitro Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to its left metatarsal.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Gunsblaze was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards queried Ms A Patten in regards to the increase in distance with which the greyhound was competing over tonight in comaprison to it's most recent starts. Ms Patten stated that she had significantly increased the greyhounds workload in preperation to step it up in distance, and that tonights run was to see where the greyhound was at in it's preperation. Ms Patten also stated that she was pleased with the run tonight and that it was her intention to race the greyhound over 525m in future. Stewards noted the comments of Ms Patten.
