Following the event Stylish Al collapsed in the catching pen.  As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound experienced a seizure.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Connell, the representative of Stylish Al and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Stylish Al must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. A. Ferguson, trainer of My Name's Sheree declared a new weight of 25.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  My Name's Sheree last raced at 27.1kgs.

Gunsblaze was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards queried Ms A Patten in regards to the increase in distance with which the greyhound was competing over tonight in comaprison to it's most recent starts. Ms Patten stated that she had significantly increased the greyhounds workload in preperation to step it up in distance, and that tonights run was to see where the greyhound was at in it's preperation. Ms Patten also stated that she was pleased with the run tonight and that it was her intention to race the greyhound over 525m in future. Stewards noted the comments of Ms Patten.

Satisfactory Trial Results

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Formosa, the trainer of Survino regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Survino last raced on 14th January, 2016.  Mr. Formosa stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a change of kennel.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Survino trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 31.5kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.25.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 lengths.  Survino was cleared.
