Pursuant to 104 (6) Parade Steward Miss P. Albrecht did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre race sample was taken from Riverside Deb upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Kerrie's One and Flip were quick to begin. Off The Hip and Sweet Amber were slow to begin. Off The Hip checked off Onto Jatt on the first turn. Enduro Miss checked off Beyond Galaxia on the first turn checking Off The Hip. Off The Hip and Sweet Amber collided in the back straight. Onto Jatt and Riverside Deb collided in the back straight checking Onto Jatt and Sweet Amber. Riverside Deb galloped on Flip approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Onto Jatt and Sweet Amber collided and raced wide on the home turn. Flip and Riverside Deb collided entering the home straight. Flip lost ground in the home straight.
Flip was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected spinal condition, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
