Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Miss P. Albrecht did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Mrs. L. Russell, trainer of Corroboree declared a new weight of 35.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Corroboree last raced at 34.1kgs.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Russell, the trainer of Corroboree regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Corroboree last raced on 24/03/2016. Mrs. Russell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennels.
Motors Too Fast was quick to begin. Tail Gate was slow to begin. Arnie's Locket was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Ready Sebi Go and Miss Maximo collided soon after the start checking Miss Maximo. Two Dollar Pots, Tail Gate, Corroboree and Motors Too Fast collided on the first turn checking Tail Gate and Motors Too Fast severely checking Corroboree which stumbled checking Miss Maximo and Arnie's Locket. Two Dollar Pots, Tail Gate and Motors Too Fast collided on the first turn checking Tail Gate and Motors Too Fast. Arnie's Locket checked off Motors Too Fast approaching the home turn. Arnie's Locket raced wide entering the home straight.
