Steward's Report
Movida was slow to begin. Selynya Kev and Chase The Breeze collided soon after the start. Selynya Kev, Chase The Breeze and Secret Society collided several times from soon after the start to the 300 metre mark. Movida, Selynya Kev and Chase The Breeze collided at the 250 metre mark severely checking Movida and Selynya Kev. Encee Eye Gibbs checked off She's Fullboar approaching the 150 metre mark checking Secret Society. Encee Eye Gibbs and Why Not Mick collided approaching the winning post checking Encee Eye Gibbs.
Following the event, She's Fullboar displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound displayed clinical signs of Ataxia / Hypermetria. The greyhound also sustained an injury to its right quadriceps muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Fitton, the handler of She's Fullboar and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitered in future events.
