A pre race sample was taken from Onya Jatt.
Hide The Wallet and Steady Walker were slow to begin. Onya Jatt and Oh Watta Texan collided soon after the start. Onya Jatt checked off Oh Watta Texan approaching the 300m mark. Blackalls Lad checked off Invictus Glory at the 300m mark. Blackalls Lad crossed to the rail at the 250m mark, checking Onya Jatt and Blackalls Lad. Oh Watta Texan and Invictus Glory collided at the 200m mark. Onya Jatt raced wide at the 150m mark. Steady Walker clipped the heels of Hide The Wallet at the 100m mark.
Blackalls Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured lef triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
