A pre race sample was taken from Iona Carlson.

Iona Carlson was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Apollo Greed checked off Josie Jo at the 300m mark, and again at the 150m.  Massive Attack and Iona Carlson collided at the 50m mark, checking Massive Attack.

Apollo Greed was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Arctic Blaze went up with the lids at boxrise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Keep Talking and Blackjack's Back collided soon after the start. Elle Driver and Say Nothing collided at the 300m mark.  Keep Talking and Blackjack's Back collided at the 300m mark.  Blackjack's Back checked off Keep Talking at the 150m mark.  Elle Driver and Laniakea collided at the 100m mark.  Blackjack's Back and Say Nothing collided at the 50m mark.  Astute Glib raced wide throughout the event.

Hide The Wallet and Steady Walker were slow to begin.  Onya Jatt and Oh Watta Texan collided soon after the start.  Onya Jatt checked off Oh Watta Texan approaching the 300m mark.  Blackalls Lad checked off Invictus Glory at the 300m mark.  Blackalls Lad crossed to the rail at the 250m mark, checking Onya Jatt and Blackalls Lad.  Oh Watta Texan and Invictus Glory collided at the 200m mark.  Onya Jatt raced wide at the 150m mark.  Steady Walker clipped the heels of Hide The Wallet at the 100m mark.

Blackalls Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured lef triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Arby.

Liam was quick to begin.  Arby was slow to begin.  Banana Blanket, Spritely Pizazz, Spanky's Legacy, Dozer Lad and She's Got Grace collided soon after the start.  Dozer Lad and She's Got Grace collided at the 300m mark.  Arby and Liam collided at the 250m mark.  Banana Blanket and Spritely Pizazz collided at the 200m mark.  Dozer Lad and Jay Kay Be collided at the 150m mark.  Spritely Pizazz checked off Banana Blanket at the 50m mark and stumbled as a result.

Mrs J Sharp, the trainer of Dynamic Spin declared a new weight of 34.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(9). Dynamic Spin last raced at 32.8kgs. 

A pre race sample was taken from Sugar Bang.

Lunar Magic, Sugar Bang and Calabrese Coco were slow to begin.  Lunar Magic and Calabrese Coco collided soon after the start.  Magic Moon Dust and Dynamic Spin collided soon after the start.  Tinny Time and Sugar Bang collided at the 100m mark.  Noaki Lynx checked off Magic Moon Dust at the 100m mark, checking Dynamic Spin. 

Stewards spoke to B White regarding the direction that the greyhound Calabrese Coco be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Sunningdale was a late scratching at 9:39am due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require in a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Acey Boy was slow to begin.  Queen Lagertha, Snaphook Sticka and Karthikeyan collided soon after the start.  Cash Car Star and Snaphook Sticka collided at the 300m mark.  Snaphook Sticka and Karthikeyan collided at the 150m mark.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Acey Boy became dislodged during the running of the event.

Weston East was slow to begin.  Tahnee Dream and Bide Time collided soon after the start.  Shared Equity and Bordeaux Miss collided at the 300m mark.  Bordeaux Miss checked off Bejay The Dejay at the 250m mark. Let's Run and Bide Time collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark.  Bejay The Dejay and Bordeaux Miss collided at the 150m mark.  Bejay The Dejay, Bordeaux Miss and Let's Run collided at the 100m mark, checking Bordeaux Miss and Let's Run.  Shared Equity checked off Doodle Bug Jay at the 50m mark.  Bejay The Dejay checked off Doodle Bug Jay approaching the winning post and collided with Shared Equity.

Benson and Mr. Coops were slow to begin.  Amlin Prince crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Howth, Lektra Damage and Mr. Coops.  Ninetymile Bill, Lektra Damage and Victory Cruise collided at the 300m mark, checking Victory Cruise.  Lektra Damage and Ninetymile Bill collided at the 200m mark.  Howth and Ninetymile Bill collided at the 150m mark.  Amlin Prince and I've Got Wings collided at the 150m mark, checking Amlin Prince.
