Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ward, the trainer of Alouette Jack regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Alouette Jack last raced on 10th March 2016. Mr. Ward stated that the greyhound was recovering from a left stopper bone injury.
Woorndoo Lass was slow to begin. Good Boloney was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Alouette Jack, Louis Mini Girl, Jam Lady and Paradise Bay collided soon after the start, checking Louis Mini Girl. Pee Koda and Jam Lady collided approaching the first turn. Louis Mini Girl checked off Baron Destini approaching the home turn.
Woorndoo Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
