Light 'Em Lylah was quick to begin. Loader and Sanz Marlow were slow to begin. Aston Hammer and Dr. Gammiris collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Aston Hammer. Jazzy Fizzle and Loader collided on the first turn checking Jazzy Fizzle. Rover, Sanz Marlow and Fastest Leap collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Sanz Marlow and Fastest Leap. Jazzy Fizzle galloped on Fastest Leap approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Hammer raced wide on the home turn. Sanz Marlow checked off Loader entering the home straight.
