The start of this event was delayed 1 1/2 minutes due to the late arrival of the greyhound's at the boxes.

Armadale Lass, Epping Champ and Flying Camo were slow to begin.  Uncensored, Two Dollar Pots and Gym Boots collided soon after the start checking Uncensored.  Armadale Lass contacted the running rail approaching the first turn severely checking Armadale Lass which stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.  Two Dollar Pots galloped on Lakeview Lyn approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Two Dollar Pots and Lakeview Lyn collided approaching the home turn checking Lakeview Lyn.  Uncensored and Epping Champ collided on the home turn.  Gym Boots and Flying Camo collided entering the home straight. Gym Boots checked off Flying Camo approaching the winning post.  Two Dollar Pots checked off Gym Boots approaching the winning post.

Uncensored was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. D. Ferguson, trainer of Ruff Edges declared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ruff Edges last competed at 32.0kgs.

Fragility was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abraded webbing right hind and a graze to the left hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.
