Satisfactory Trial Results

Sultan's Boy trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 30.5kgs (new declared weight).  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.70.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 19.5 lengths.  Sultan's Boy was not cleared.

Sultan's Boy was vetted following the Satisfactory Trial.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its right hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Whyte, the trainer of Superfonic regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Superfonic last raced on 15th October 2015.  Mr. Whyte stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right shoulder injury.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Superfonic trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 33.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.70.  The greyhound won by a margin of 10.25 lengths.  Superfonic was cleared.

Thunder Flame trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 34.1kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.70.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 17.5 lengths.  Thunder Flame was cleared.
