Uno Rae was quick to begin.  Ravishing Rufus was slow to begin.  Dr. Susie and Another Man were very slow to begin (3 lengths) and collided approaching the first turn.  Pay Wave and Sweet Jess collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Ravishing Rufus, Pay Wave and Dr. Susie.  Pay Wave galloped on the heels of Dr. Susie approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Sweet Jess raced wide entering the home straight.  Pay Wave raced wide in the home straight.

Barry Beach was quick to begin.  Lucky Chic and Dr. Balboa were slow to begin.  Jay Kay Be went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Casual Response crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Jay Kay Be and Lucky Chic.  Jay Kay Be galloped on the heels of Lucky Chic on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Casual Response checked off Four See approaching the home turn.  Lucky Chic checked off Casual Response entering the home straight checking Jay Kay Be.

Mr G Selkrig, trainer of Stagger Express redeclared a new weight of 31.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stagger Express last raced at 32.3kgs.

Dr. Lachie and My Miss Maud were quick to begin.  Veetee Bulldog, Gaelic Emerald and Poison Blue were slow to begin.  Do Si Do crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dr. Lachie, My Miss Maud and Fear Me Roar.  Stagger Express checked off Fear Me Roar on the first turn.  Fear Me Roar and Stagger Express collided on the home turn and both greyhounds raced wide as a result.

Mr L Mitchell, trainer of Lynlaw Ted redeclared a new weight of 31.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lynlaw Ted last raced at 33.1kgs.

Hip Hop Emmy was quick to begin.  Where's Sandy was slow to begin.  Dr. Nelly was very slow to begin (3.5 lengths).  Wallamba Max and Sultan's Boy collided soon after the start checking Wallamba Max.  Gaelic Flight and Tekki Lightning collided approaching the first turn checking Lynlaw Ted.  Tekki Lightning and Where's Sandy collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Lynlaw Ted, Tekki Lightning and Where's Sandy collided approaching the home turn checking Lynlaw Ted and Where's Sandy.  Hip Hop Emmy and Sultan's Boy collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Sultan's Boy and Gaelic Flight.

Lynlaw Ted was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr J Burch, trainer of Chloe's Entity redeclared a new weight of 26.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Chloe's Entity last raced at 28.5kgs.

Our Black Gem and Chloe's Entity were slow to begin.  Taymel Prince was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Dance A Tron and Remember Train collided approaching the first turn.  Snow Fairy and Racing Ruby collided approaching the first turn checking Snow Fairy.  Snow Fairy, Dance A Tron and Remember Train collided on the first turn checking Dance A Tron and Remember Train.  Canya Keato raced wide approaching the home turn.  Dance A Tron checked off Snow Fairy entering the home straight and collided with Canya Keato; Canya Keato and Dance A Tron were checked as a result.

Steward's issued a warning to Mr John Burch, trainer and handler of Chloe's Entity in that he made contact with the rear of the boxes after boxing the greyhound. GAR 51(10)(c).

Perry White was quick to begin.  Mif's Keeper was slow to begin.  Fireburst crossed to the rail approaching the first turn severely checking Paramount Pink and Chief Red Cloud.  Mif's Keeper and Fireburst collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Paramount Pink raced wide on the home turn.

Riley Jack was quick to begin.  Get 'Em Ted, Routine Advice and Dr. Nadal were slow to begin.  Get 'Em Ted and Routine Advice collided on the first turn checking Get 'Em Ted.  Dr. Nadal tailed off in the event.

Dr. Nadal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. McMahon, the trainer of the greyhound Dr. Nadal.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Da Goose.

Pearce and Lachlan's Rough were slow to begin.  Gaelic Causeway, Lachlan's Rough, Tiger Cub and Ragtime Jaymee collided soon after the start checking Gaelic Causeway and causing Lachlan's Rough to fall.  Tiger Cub crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Gaelic Causeway.  Da Goose galloped on the heels of Lyley Lass on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Pearce and Tiger Cub collided on the first turn checking Tiger Cub.  Ragtime Jaymee checked off Da Goose approaching the home turn.

Gaelic Causeway was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Lachlan's Rough was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Speed And Rocket was slow to begin.  Long Shot Dream was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Dr. Carlos checked off Play Your Ace approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Jewel galloped on the heels of Black Pontiac on the first turn.  Chili Delight and Useful collided on the first turn.  Chili Delight, Dr. Carlos and Useful collided approaching the home turn checking Play Your Ace and severely checking Useful and causing Chili Delight to fall.

Chili Delight was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left metacarpal.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Don's Chief and My Pocket Rocket were quick to begin.  Tekki Spader was slow to begin.  Don's Chief and Social Member collided approaching the first turn checking Don's Chief.  Tekki Spader galloped on the heels of Willowbrooke approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Brodie's Mullet and Raddison collided on the first turn checking Raddison and Social Member.  Brodie's Mullet and Fursty Ferret collided approaching the home turn.  Willowbrooke and Dons's Chief raced wide on the home turn.  Brodie's Mullet and Tekki Spader collided on the home turn checking Brodie's Mullet, Tekki Spader and Social Member.  Brodie's Mullet and Tekki Spader collided in the home straight.

Lil' Miss Musket was quick to begin.  Our Guy, Just Wing It and My Pal Houston were slow to begin.  Stress Star, Our Guy and Just Wing It collided soon after the start.  Pendles Power, Santa's Hope, Stress Star, Our Guy, Just Wing It and My Pal Houston collided approaching the first turn checking Santa's Hope.  Our Guy raced wide on the first turn checking Just Wing It which stumbled as a result.  Stress Star and My Pal Houston raced wide on the home turn.

Just Wing It was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Shanae Rose and Golden Dreams were quick to begin.  Gox Rocks and Gas To Run were slow to begin.  Gas To Run faltered soon after the start and subsequently pulled up.  Lucky Andy and Barroom Express collided approaching the first turn.  Shrek's Phantom and Bird Has Flown collided on the first turn checking Bird Has Flown.  Barroom Express galloped on the heels of Lucky Andy on first turn checking both greyhounds.  Shrek's Phantom checked off Shanae Rose on the home turn checking Golden Dreams.  Golden Dreams and Shrek's Phantom collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Gas To Run was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was sustained a spinal injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Viv Tudor was prestented for a re-vet prior to completing a satisfactory trial and was cleared to race.

Lil' Bit Suna trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 24.9kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.85.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.5L.  Lil' Bit Suna was cleared..

Little Smokey trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 28.3kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.85.  The greyhound was beaten a margin of 33.5L.  Little Smokey was not cleared.

Viv Tudor  trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 27.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.85.  The greyhound was beaten a margin of 8L. Viv Tudor was cleared.

Trail 2:

Prince Nando trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 32.5kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.84.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25L.  Prince Nando was cleared.

Tear Away Size trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 23.9kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.84.  The greyhound won by a margin of 5.25L.  Tear Away Size was cleared.

Bluehawk Sun trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 34.6kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.84.  The greyhound was beaten a margin of 10.25L. Bluehawk Sun was cleared.

Gun Law Levo trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 2, weight 28.6kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.84.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.75L.  Gun Law Levo was cleared.
