Max's Entity, Rebel Commander, Smart Business and Gilded Lily collided soon after the start. Zyon and Nawala Barko collided soon after the start. Rebel Commander checked off Smart Business on the first turn. Rebel Commander checked off Smart Business on the first turn. Gilded Lily galloped on the heels of Nawala Barko approaching the home turn checking Gilded Lily and Zambora Jai. Gilded Lily, Zyon, Nawala Barko and Zambora Jai collided approaching the home turn checking Gilded Lily, Zyon and Rebel Commander and severely checking Nawala Barko and Zambora Jai, Nawala Barko fell as a result.
Nawala Barko was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Zambora Jai was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained skin abrasions to the hind feet. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
