Flame On Rocks and Bobby Serrano collided soon after the start. Wrecking Ralph galloped on the heels of Harkonen Bale checking Wrecking Ralph, Harkonen Bale and Bobby Serrano. Harkonen Bale galloped on the heels of Explosive Sky on the first turn checking Explosive Sky. My Cinderbella raced wide approaching the home turn. Flame On Rocks checked off Explosive Sky on the home turn. Bobby Serrano and Explosive Sky collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight, Bobby Serrano brushed the running rail as a result. Explosive Sky checked off Flame On Rocks approaching the winning post. 

My Cinderbella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and left triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Bachelor Club was slow to begin.

Jacana and Kewin Up collided soon after the start. Melodramatic checked off Kewin Up on the first turn. Melodramatic and Sweet Chilly collided on the first turn checking Melodramatic. Melodramatic and Bachelor Club collided approaching the home turn. Kewin Up checked off Lever Action on the home turn.

R. Massina trainer of Gilded Lily redeclared a new weight of 28.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gilded Lily last raced at 29.9kg.

Ate Grand Kids was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

A. Dailly, trainer of Crackerjack Dak redeclared a new weight of 34.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crackerjack Dak last raced at 36.0kg.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately two minutes due to an interstate gallops race running late.

Wayfarer and Zabimaru Bale collided soon after the start. Opus Bale and Miss Mayflower collided approaching the first turn.
