Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to C. Dyett, the handler of Tammy Baxter regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tammy Baxter last raced on 12th January, 2016. Mr Dyett stated that the greyhound was returning from a back muscle injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Iconic Rock.
Ginger Warrior was slow to begin. Gallo Allen, Steel The Best and Pacific Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Just Smile. Steel The Best and Pacific Angel collided approaching the home turn checking Krazy Kanga. Tammy Baxter galloped on the heels of Krazy Kanga approaching the home turn, severely checking Tammy Baxter, Krazy Kanga and Gallo Allen. Krazy Kanga fell as a result.
Krazy Kanga was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
