Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pee Dee upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Paddy Norris, Adelaide Bale and Joffa's Oldboy were slow to begin. Paddy Norris checked off Adelaide Bale approaching the first turn. Adelaide Bale checked off Dyna Earp approaching the home turn. Osaka Bale, Joffa's Oldboy and Pee Dee collided approaching the home turn checking Osaka Bale and Pee Dee. Osaka Bale and Dyna Earp collided approaching the home turn. Dyna Earp cramped on the home turn and fell as a result, severely checking Paddy Norris.
Paddy Norris was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Dyna Earp was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from camp, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs A. Dailly, Trainer of Dyna Earp. Acting in accordance with GAR 71(Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
A sample was taken from Destroy I Said, the winner of the event.
