Steward's Report
Premier Macs and Nordul's Hope were quick to begin. Black Edge was slow to begin. Claretown Louie galloped on the heels of Quick Return approaching the first turn. Claretown Louie and Crackerjack Roy collided approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Roy. Quick Return and Nordul's Hope collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight causing Quick Return to stumble. Claretown Louie and Claretown Sam raced wide entering the home straight.
Quick Return was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Crackerjack Roy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Ferguson regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Crackerjack Roy. Stewards directed that Crackerjack Roy be boxed first in future events.
