Red Tone and Hashtag Johnny collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lightning Frank galloped on the heels of Percy's Rebel on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Hashtag Johnny and Destini Riptide collided approaching the home turn checking Destini Riptide and Avatar Kelso which stumbled as a result.

Aston Prada was vetted and re-vetted following race 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle and an injury to the right triangle. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Cheese Ya Later checked off Invictus Lawless entering the back straight. Riverside Deb checked off Clovalley Dave in the back straight. Smart Maxwell, Invictus Lawless, Cheese Ya Later and Clovalley Dave collided on the second turn checking All Inn Boston, Riverside Deb, Smart Maxwell and Cheese Ya Later. Smart Maxwell checked off Riverside Deb in the home straight.

Bullboar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, a left sesmoid injury, a left hock sprain and a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Leek, the trainer of Gardsman regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Gardsman last raced on 25/02/16. Ms. Leek stated that the greyhound was returning from a hock injury.

Windsor Prize was slow to begin. Saintly Miss crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Quick Kisses, Greysynd Chief and Echelonic Action. Quick Kisses checked off Echelonic Action on the first turn. Echelonic Action and Dark Jameson collided on the first turn checking Echelonic Action. Nocturnal, Gardsman and Greysynd Chief collided entering the back straight checking Greysynd Chief. Saintly Miss and Quick Kisses collided in the back straight. Windsor Prize checked off Saintly Miss approaching the second turn. Dark Jameson and Gardsman collided approaching the home turn. Windsor Prize and Quick Kisses collided on the home turn. Saintly Miss marred the running of Windsor Prize in the home straight. 

Saintly Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe, a left chest muscle injury and a left hock sprain. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ashton, the trainer of the greyhound Saintly Miss regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Saintly Miss with marring. Mr. Ashton pleaded guilty to the charge, Saintly Miss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tybellene checked off Bastet Bale soon after the start. Oaklands, Call Me Boz and Tybellene collided soon after the start checking Tybellene. Zelemar Zone, Tybellene, Bastet Bale and Call Me Boz collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Tybellene. Bojack Kahn and Jackie Baxter collided approaching the home turn. Bastet Bale and Tybellene collided on the home turn checking Tybellene.

Allen Jeer, Fly As One, Cosmic Pauly and Memphis Jookin' collided soon after the start checking Fly As One and Cosmic Pauly. Memphis Jookin' checked off Fly As One on the first turn. Belena Prince eased on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Partridge, the trainer of the greyhound Belena Prince regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Belena Prince was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left chest muscle and left back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Belena Prince with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Partridge pleaded not guilty to the charge, Belena Prince was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Landmark was slow to begin. Da Bear and Cass' Cass collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rusty Boy, Meat Titan and Cass' Cass collided on the first turn checking Rusty Boy and Cass' Cass. Da Bear, Rusty Boy, Cass' Cass, Clovally Mansumi and It's An Illusion collided approaching the home turn checking Cass' Cass, Da Bear, Clovally Mansumi and It's An Illusion. Da Bear checked off Cass' Cass entering the home straight. Clovally Mansumi checked off Clovalley Rang in the home straight.

Da Bear was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock sprain and a right groin injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Hastag Jordan was quick to begin. Warrior Bale was slow to begin. Dovizoso and Handsome Cosmo collided soon after the start. Milestone, Dovizoso, Handsome Cosmo, Stolen, Inmate and Warrior Bale collided on the first turn checking Milestone, Our Rebel, Warrior Bale and Inmate. Dovizoso galloped on Handsome Cosmo approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Milestone and Our Rebel collided on the home turn. Dovizoso was held up for a run checking Handsome Cosmo on the home turn. Handsome Cosmo and Warrior Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Ginger Warrior checked off Tamile Lass soon after the start. Ginger Warrior crossed wide approaching the first turn checking Avatar Helga, Sparkletini and Pyramid Flyer. Sparkletini, Avatar Helga and Pyramid Flyer collided on the first turn. Ginger Warrior and Halo Express collided approaching the home turn and again on the turn. Sparkletini, Pyramid Flyer and Avatar Helga collided on the home turn, checking Sparkletini. Ginger Warrior and Avatar Helga collided on the home turn. Halo Express raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
