Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Lurcher upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Mud Kipper.
Manx Czar and Eaglehawk Beffa were slow to begin. Destini Baby, Mud Kipper and Nulla Girl collided soon after the start checking Destini Baby and Mud Kipper. Flyin' Les Fergi and Back Road collided on the first turn checking Back Road. Destini Baby, Lady Lurcher and Mid Kipper collided approaching the second turn checking Lady Lurcher, Mud Kipper and Back Road. Manx Czar raced wide on the home turn.
Back Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right monkey muscle and left quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.
A post race sample was taken from Destini Baby, the winner of the event.
