Loose Unit, Parker's Foibles and Nitro Deception collided soon after the start, checking Parker's Foibles. Pee Cripps and Lektra Danger collided soon after the start, checking Lektra Danger. Zieva, Nitro Deception, Loose Unit and Pee Cripps collided approaching the first turn, checking Loose Unit and Nitro Deception. Loose Unit checked off Nitro Deception on the first turn. Pee Cripps and Zieva collided on the first turn, severely checking Zieva. Lektra Danger and Nitro Deception raced wide in the home straight.
