Oh Lele Peter was slow to begin. Velobell, Allen Varmint, Good Odds Jet and Maximum Shera collided approaching the first turn, checking Good Odds Jet and Cobra Commander, and severely checking Velobell. Good Odds Jet, Cobra Commander and Oh Lele Peter collided on the first turn, checking Cobra Commander and severely checking Velobell, which contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground. Oh Lele Peter checked off Beljay Fantasy on the home turn. Good Odds Jet and Beljay Fantasy collided approaching the winning post.
Velobell was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right forearm and left stifle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
