Steward's Report
Mitch's Delight was a late scratching at 7:56am due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Boston Jet.
Special Member and Lunar Magic were slow to begin. Boston Jet went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Arvo's Nico and Taabinga Swift collided approaching the first turn checking Arvo's Nico. Taabinga Lady and Taabinga Swift collided on the first turn checking Taabinga Lady. Taabinga Swift and White With One collided several times in the home straight. Boston Jet, Taabinga Swift and White With One collided approaching the winning post.
Boston Jet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small wound to the nose. No stand down period was imposed.
