Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Scott, the handler of Beljay Belle regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Beljay Belle last raced on 10th March, 2016 and has been on season during this time.
Dessie Walnut, Beljay Belle and Uncontrollable collided soon after the start checking Beljay Belle. Uncontrollable galloped on the heels of Stumble on the first turn. Try Me and Boofa Jack collided on the first turn checking Boofa Jack. Boofa Jack galloped on the heels of Uncontrollable approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
