Oriental Lord and Daryl Dixon collided soon after the start checking Daryl Dixon. Oriental Lord and Who's That Chap collided approaching the first turn. Tail Pipe and Gia collided approaching the first turn checking Gia. Daryl Dixon checked off Tail Pipe on the first turn checking Oriental Lord, Macrory and Who's That Chap. Daryl Dixon checked off Macrory approaching the home turn. Gia raced wide in the home straight. Who's That Chap crossed to the home straight checking Who's That Chap and Daryl Dixon.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Paul McColl, the trainer of Spa Primrose regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Spa Primrose last raced on 16 November 2015. Mr McColl stated that the greyhound had sustained injuries to both fibulas. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Spa Primrose trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 27.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 1 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.98, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Spa Primrose was Cleared.
