Total Magic and Why Not Dawn on the home turn checking both greyhounds and causing Total Magic to race wide as a result. Destini Seahorse and Why Not Dawn collided several times approaching approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Debattista, the trainer of Bonte regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bonte last raced on 10th February, 2016. Mr. Debattista stated that the greyhound had an injury to the right groin.

Scarce was quick to begin. Bonte was slow to begin.

Bonte, Sally's Treasure and Mister Limbo collided approaching the first turn checking Sally's Treasure and Bonte. Ad's Boy and Monaleen Deejay collided on the first turn checking Monaleen Deejay. Monaleen Deejay and Claretown Louise collided approaching the home turn checking Claretown Louise. She's Got Grace and Patriotic Star collided approaching the home turn. Patriotic Star checked off Ad's Boy in the home straight.

Tail Pipe and Gia collided approaching the first turn checking Gia. Daryl Dixon checked off Tail Pipe on the first turn checking Oriental Lord, Macrory and Who's That Chap. Daryl Dixon checked off Macrory approaching the home turn. Gia raced wide in the home straight. Who's That Chap crossed to the home straight checking Who's That Chap and Daryl Dixon. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Paul McColl, the trainer of Spa Primrose regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Spa Primrose last raced on 16 November 2015. Mr McColl stated that the greyhound had sustained injuries to both fibulas. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Spa Primrose trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 27.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 1 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.98, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Spa Primrose was Cleared.
