Dromore's Opal and Top Load were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Natural Oak checked off Prue Jay soon after the start.  Natural Oak, Chief Red Cloud, Dromore's Opal and Top Load collided approaching the first turn checking Dromore's Opal.  Baggys Quest and Storm Fighter collided approaching the first turn checking Baggys Quest.  Natural Oak crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Top Load.  Dromore's Opal raced wide on the first turn.  Natural Oak checked off Baggys Quest approaching the home turn.  Dromore's Opal raced wide approaching the home turn. 

Bubble Head, Mif's Keeper and Baby's Rattle were slow to begin.

Cosmic Trickstar checked off Quaker Bale soon after the start.  Carly Jay, Last Line and Show Dawn collided approaching the first turn checking Carly Jay.  Mif's Keeper checked off Baby's Rattle on the first turn checking Cosmic Trickstar and Bubble Head, Bubble Head raced wide as a result.  Quaker Bale checked off Mif's Keeper on the second turn.  Show Dawn checked off Last Line on the third turn.  Mif's Keeper checked off Baby's Rattle approaching the home turn.  Cosmic Trickstar and Bubble Head collided on the home turn.

Moon And Back and Tender Fusileer were quick to begin. Benny's Reality was slow to begin.

Benny's Reality and Melee Bale collided soon after the start.  Kiria Lason eased approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Moon And Back and Tender Fusileer collided on the first turn checking Allen Casper.  Benny's Reality and Melee Bale collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Kiria Lason and Addictive Alpha collided on the second turn and again in the back straight.  Moon And Back checked off Addictive Alpha on the third turn.  Melee Bale galloped on Tender Fusileer on the home turn.  Tender Fusileer checked off Melee Bale in the home straight.

Tender Fusileer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hind minor grazes, no stand down period was imposed.

Kiria Lason was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. (Trainer Mr. L. Karabitsakos declined to have the greyhound re-vetted)

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Karabitsakos, the trainer of the greyhound Kiria Lason regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Kiria Lason with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. L Karabitsakos pleaded guilty to the charge, Kiria Lason was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pipeline Rumour was quick to begin.  Doveton Bobo and Kelsos Tenderlee were slow to begin.

Claremorris, Addictive Love and Heavenly Star collided soon after the start checking Addictive Love and Heavenly Star.  Pipeline Rumour and Kelsos Tenderlee collided approaching the first turn.  Claremorris, Sonic Petite and Doveton Bobo raced wide on the first turn.  Kelsos Tenderlee raced wide approaching the second turn.  Addictive Love and Sonic Petite collided in the home straight checking Sonic Petite.

Disco was quick to begin.  Cruiser's Sol was slow to begin.  Swans Twelve went up with the lids and was slow to begin (4 lengths)

Wealthy Schooner and Aristotle Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Wealthy Schooner.  Fleetwood Zac, Disco and Ballistic Fire collided on the first turn checking Sonic Pirate, Aristotle Bale and severely checking Disco and Ballistic Fire.  Aristotle Bale and Sonic Pirate collided approaching the home turn.  Aristotle Bale checked off Sonic Pirate in the home straight. 

Ballistic Fire was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazes to the hind feet, no stand down period was imposed.

Image Puzzle and Irish Asteria collided soon after the start checking Irish Asteria.  Aqua Vitae, Bubba's Silvia and Image Puzzle collided approaching the first turn checking Aqua Vitae and severely checking Bubba's Silvia.  Bubba's Silvia raced wide on the first turn.  Nah Wee's Girl and West On Delly collided approaching the home turn checking Nah Wee's Girl.  Image Puzzle, Sonic Fantasy and Punk Star Lass collided in the home straight checking Sonic Fantasy and Punk Star Lass.

Bubba's Silvia was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle and right hind sand burns injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bambi Boucheau was quick to begin.

One Cup Short and Cobalt Mist collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Rozehill Maisie and Peggy Sable collided on the first turn checking One Cup Short and causing Peggy Sable to race wide as a result.  One Cup Short and Cobalt Mist collided on the first turn checking Survivor Sal.  Bambi Boucheau and Angie Rocks collided entering the back straight checking Bambi Boucheau.

Two Stroke Pat, Kosi Can and Lissa Breen collided on the first turn checking Kosi Can and Lissa Breen causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Ruff Edges crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Salegreys Power and High Class causing Ruff Edges, Salegreys Power and High Class to race wide.  Two Stroke Pat and Salegreys Power collided on the second turn checking Quick Succession.  Two Stroke Pat and High Class collided on the third turn checking Two Stroke Pat.  Two Stroke Pat and Kosi Can collided on the home turn.  Ruff Edges raced wide in the home straight. 

Sonic Fury was quick to begin. Cosmic Owl was slow to begin.

Miss Cersei, Knees Up and Twist Away collided approaching the first turn checking Knees Up.  Headline checked off Sonic Fury approaching the first turn.  Headline and Twist Away collided on the first turn checking Twist Away and Miss Cersei.  Cosmic Owl checked off My Zephyr on the third turn.  Miss Cersei galloped on Magaluf Bob on the home turn checking Miss Cersei.

Twist Away was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Koko Kola and Bell Tower collided soon after the start.  Thunder Storm, Zephyr Zap, Noaki Lynx and Mighty Sprite collided soon after the start.  Thunder Storm and Zephyr Zap collided approaching the first turn checking Thunder Storm which stumbled.  Mighty Sprite, Bell Tower and Brendan's Puzzle collided on the first turn severely checking Mighty Sprite and Bell Tower.  Koko Kola checked off Brendan's Puzzle on the first turn and collided with Just Go Bang.  Noaki Lynx brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.  Thunder Storm and Bell Tower collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home straight checking both greyhounds. Noaki Lynx, Zephyr Zap, Koko Kola and Just Go Bang collided entering the home straight checking Just Go Bang severely checking Noaki Lynx, Koko Kola and Zephyr Zap. Koko Kola lost ground in the home straight.

Tekki Tremor, Tekki China and Tilly's Tempa were slow to begin.

Ruthless Stagger checked off In A Daze approaching the first turn.  Tekki China checked off Ruthless Stagger on the first turn.  Benny Bowen and Tekki Tremor collided on the first turn. Till's Tempa checked off Tekki China approaching the home turn and raced wide.  Tekki Tremor contacted the running rail entering the home straight checking Tekki China.  Twistex checked off Magic Meehan in the home straight. 

Wildcard Lad and Our Blue Earner were quick to begin.

Our Blue Earner crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Oscar's Champ severely checking Kynan's Magic and causing Alvarez, Midnight Reign and Tywin Bale to fall.  Oscar's Champ raced wide on the home turn.

Alvarez was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Reign was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder and right wrist injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tywin Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle and grazes to the right hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
