Cosmic Bay was quick to begin. Maine Heart and Zoally were slow to begin.

Aeroplane Mick, Magic Moz and Maine Lach collided on the first turn checking Magic Moz and Maine Lach. Maine Heart raced wide on the first turn. Zoally, Magic Moz and Maine Lach collided approaching the home turn severely checking Magic Moz and Maine Lach. Maine Heart raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Maine Lach become dislodged soon after the start.

Our Warlock was vetted and revetted following race 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr. J. Finn regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Aeroplane Mick. Stewards directed that Aeroplane Mick be boxed first in future events.

Dawn Cruise and Be Hopeful were slow to begin.

Heza Dee Light and Ricardo Bale collided approaching the first turn. Ima Tomahawk galloped on the heels of Ricardo Bale approachng the first turn checking Ima Tomahawk. Dawn Cruise galloped on the heels of Rennicane on the first turn checking Dawn Cruise, Heza Dee Light and Ricardo Bale. Uno Sparti and Dawn Cruise collided several times approaching the home turn checking Dawn Cruise. Dawn Cruise and Heza Dee Light collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Dawn Cruise and Ima Tomahawk and severely checking Heza Dee Light. Magic Success and Cash You Latte were slow to begin.

Psycho's Wild and Lila's Girl collided soon after the start. Cash You Latte checked off Magic Success approaching the first turn. Lila's Girl, Psycho's Wild and Wez Gordy collided on the first turn checking Cash You Latte and severely checking Psycho's Wild and Wez Gordy. Magic Success checked off All Over on the first turn.

Our Zayney Nash and Dyna Brainiac collided soon after the start. Dyna Brainiac, Our Zayney Nash and Rosie's Crusade collided approaching the first turn checking Rosie's Crusade and Dyna Brainiac. Kenju Bale checked off Our Zayney Nash on the first turn. Nayla Swift checked off Elfen Bale approaching the home turn checking Big Wolt and causing Nayla Swift to collide with Our Zayney Nash. Rosie's Crusade raced wide entering the home straight. Dyna Brainiac checked off Our Zayney Nash entering the home straight. Nayla Swift, Dyna Brainiac and Our Zayney Nash collided several times in the home straight.

This race started 80 seconds late due to Sky Channel commitments at Bendigo Harness.

Soldier Spy and Sofa So Good were quick to begin.

Santa's Special and Santa's Serena collided several times in the back straight checking Santa's Special. Sultan Of Swing checked off Santa's Serena on the first turn. Soldier Spy and Sofa So Good collided approaching the home turn checking Soldier Spy. Soldier Spy raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. D. Crocker, the handler of Sultan Of Swing after it was established he was wearing an incorrect bib number and had placed an incorrect racing rug on the greyhound prior to the greyhound leaving the kennelling area. 

J. Borg, trainer of Agent Jack redeclared a new weight of 35.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Agent Jack last raced at 34kgs.

Just A Taste and Earl Bale were slow to begin.

Dyna Geldof and Earl Bale collided approaching the first turn. Just A Taste checked off Maintenance Man approaching the first turn. Maintenance Man, Enjoy Cruising and Earl Bale collided on the first turn checking Enjoy Cruising, Earl Bale and Dyna Geldof. Cruisy's Luck was slow to begin.

Exit Zero, Cruisy's Luck, Blistering Bob, Ulla Allen, High Mission and Empire Allen collided soon after the start severely checking Blistering Bob, Cruisy's Luck and Ulla Allen, Ulla Allen stumbled as a result. Crackerjack Rose crossed to the outside on the first turn. Empire Allen and High Mission collided on the first turn severely checking Exit Zero which contacted the running rail as a result.
