Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Book Of Capers was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Stemmer pleaded guilty to the charge. Book Of Capers must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Herd 'Em Up (checked and lost ground at the 200m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Clarke informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Clarke that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
