Steward's Report
Aston Ruinart – Late scratching at 5.10pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Campbell after he presented Aston Ruinart to race with an injury. Mr G Campbell was issued with a warning in accordance with GAR 76(1)(a) and they were advised to conduct a thorough examination of his greyhounds prior to the appointed scratching time to ensure that he presents them free from injury.
Atomic Secret was quick to begin. Condah Express was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Atomic Secret - the winner of the event.
Tom Tom, lost ground home straight, cramped after finish underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
