Steward's Report
Riverdale Turbo was quick to begin. Sabatini was slow to begin.
Ricochet Berry (marred Riverdale Turbo turning into the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left-fore. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. Michele Berry regarding Ricochet Berry's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Ricochet Berry was charged with marring. Ms. Berry pleaded guilty to the charge. Ricochet Berry was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
