Perfect Stranger and Inward Harmony were slow to begin.
Perfect Stranger raced wide in the home straight.
Shanlyn Rover underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Colin Baker regarding the racing manners of Shanlyn Rover turning into the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Baker, viewing the available race footage and taking into account the injury sustained by Shanlyn Rover in the event, Stewards took no further action.
