Steward's Report
Moraine Ted and No Gizmo were quick to begin. Wizin Woodhouse, John Boy and Crackerjack Cook were slow to begin.
No Gizmo (lost ground home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
John Boy, (turned head in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left long head triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Tammy Kennedy Harris regarding John Boy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, John Boy was charged with marring. Ms Kennedy Harris pleaded guilty to the charge. John Boy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days. (1st offence) at Geelong and must performa Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Jackpot Cash underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder strain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Cody Hose regarding Jackpot Cash’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Jackpot Cash was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Hose pleaded guilty to the charge. Jackpot Cash was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
