Steward's Report
Aeroplane Astro was quick to begin. Elite Heat and Iason Bale were slow to begin.
Aeroplane Astro (eased approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left long head triceps injury and a left hamstring injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Samuel Webb regarding Aeroplane Astro’s racing manners Approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Aeroplane Astro was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Webb pleaded not guilty to the charge. Aeroplane Astro was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
